Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sanfordelectric.online (the "Site") and the electrical services provided by Sanford Electric, LLC ("Sanford Electric," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, contacting us, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference.
1. Our Services
Sanford Electric provides residential and commercial electrical services in Sanford, Florida and surrounding Central Florida communities, including electrical panel upgrades and replacements, EV charger installation, home rewiring, CCTV and security system installation, outdoor and holiday lighting, and emergency electrical service. All work is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable Florida and local codes. Required permits and inspections are handled as part of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Estimates, Pricing & Payment
- Free estimates are offered for new installations and major replacements. Diagnostic or service-call fees for troubleshooting and repairs, if any, will be disclosed before work begins.
- Estimates are based on the information available at the time and the conditions we can reasonably observe. Concealed conditions (for example, damaged wiring behind finished walls, code deficiencies, or utility-side issues) may require a revised quote, which we will present for your approval before proceeding.
- You approve the scope and price before work starts. Changes you request after approval are billed as agreed change orders.
- Payment is due on completion unless a written schedule says otherwise. Accepted payment methods and any deposit requirements for larger projects are stated on your estimate.
- Estimates are valid for 30 days unless a different period is stated on the estimate.
3. Scheduling, Access & Cancellations
We will confirm your appointment window by phone, text, or email. You agree to provide safe access to the work area and to the electrical panel, and to secure pets and remove personal items from the work area. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel; late cancellations for scheduled installations may be subject to a reasonable fee that will be disclosed in advance. Emergency and after-hours calls may carry an emergency-rate surcharge, which will be quoted before dispatch.
4. Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our work. Unless a different term is stated on your invoice, Sanford Electric warrants its workmanship against defects for one (1) year from the completion date. Manufacturer warranties on equipment and materials (panels, breakers, EV chargers, fixtures, cameras, etc.) are passed through to you and are governed by the manufacturer's terms. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, alteration by others, utility power events, acts of nature, or normal wear. Your remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of the defective work.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sanford Electric's total liability arising out of any service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of use or lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Florida law.
