Privacy Policy
Sanford Electric, LLC ("Sanford Electric," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit sanfordelectric.online (the "Site"), call or text us, or use our electrical services, how we use that information, and the choices you have. By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
The Site does not contain any web forms. We collect personal information only when you choose to contact us directly — for example, when you call or text (407) 832-1007, email contact@sanfordelectric.online, or request an estimate or service in person. This may include your name, phone number, email address, service address, details about your electrical project, and any other information you choose to share with us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to keep the Site secure, understand how it is used, and improve it. See Section 6 (Cookies) for more detail.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your calls, texts, and emails and to schedule and perform electrical services.
- To prepare estimates, invoices, permits, and inspection paperwork for your project.
- To send appointment confirmations, reminders, technician arrival updates, and follow-up messages about work we have performed for you.
- To answer questions, provide customer support, and request feedback or reviews after a completed job.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services.
- To comply with legal obligations, including Florida contractor licensing, permitting, and record-keeping requirements.
3. SMS / Text Messaging & Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support categories, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you provide your mobile phone number to Sanford Electric — by calling or texting us, by giving it to our office or a technician, or by replying to one of our messages — you may receive SMS/text messages from us related to your service request. These are conversational and informational messages such as appointment confirmations and reminders, estimate and scheduling updates, technician arrival notices, and replies to questions you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages unless you have separately and expressly asked to receive them.
- Message frequency varies depending on your service activity.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
- Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further texts from us unless you opt back in.
- Get help by replying HELP to any message, or by contacting us at (407) 832-1007 or contact@sanfordelectric.online.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us. Full program details are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us operate our business — such as scheduling and customer-relationship software, telephone and messaging providers, payment processors, website hosting, and email services. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us and must protect it.
- Subcontractors and suppliers. When needed to complete your project (for example, a permitting service or an equipment supplier), limited to what is necessary for that job.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, permitting or licensing authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sanford Electric, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. If Sanford Electric is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
As stated in Section 3, your mobile phone number and text-message opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Data Retention
We keep customer records, estimates, invoices, and job documentation for as long as needed to provide our services, honor warranties, and satisfy Florida licensing, tax, and permitting record-keeping requirements — generally up to seven (7) years after your last service. Text-message opt-out requests are retained indefinitely so we can honor them.
6. Cookies & Analytics
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, or Meta Pixel) to measure traffic and the effectiveness of our advertising. These tools collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, and the pages you view.
